It’s not every day you see a Black person at the center of a Canadian cannabis industry celebration. As we honor Black History Month across North America, it’s essential to highlight the impactful contributions of people of color in cannabis.

Not only was I placed front and center in the cannabis industry’s photo recognition, but I was also named Canada’s Best Cannabis Consultant by the Grow Up Conference, Awards and Expo. To have so many institutions acknowledging my work as a person of color in this space is truly inspiring and humbling.

Beyond this, I’m proud to have accepted the nomination for the Global Impact Award for my book, Cannabis Development. This achievement represents the testament to the resilience, expertise, and innovation that Black professionals bring to this industry and cannabis community.

Let’s continue to uplift Black cannabis authors, entrepreneurs, and pioneers who are shaping the future. Support Black cannabis literature this Black History Month!
