I’m thrilled to share some exciting news:
I have accepted the role of VP of Global Consultant for PACTECH in California, USA, managed by Zachery Meyer, a global leader in plant testing. This is a significant step forward in my career, and I am eager to contribute to PACTECH’s mission of revolutionizing cannabis testing and analysis.
On January 1st, 2024, the Department of Cannabis Control in California mandated that certified testing labs use a new standardized cannabinoid method for all cured flower sample Certificates of Analysis (COAs). This change aims to mitigate variations in analysis reports and ensure more consistent and reliable data across the industry.
Recognizing the critical importance of staying ahead in the ever-evolving cannabis market, PACTECH rapidly developed updated Near-Infrared (NIR) potency measures. These measures accurately predict sample values derived from the standardized cannabinoid method. Today, I’m proud to announce that these NIR calibrations are now available on our Cloud Lab suite and can be utilized on NeoSpectra handheld NIRs.
Our dry flower calibrations were meticulously developed using cured cannabis flower, enabling precise monitoring of cannabinoid and moisture content throughout the curing process. This ensures optimal product quality and allows for cross-referencing values obtained by a testing laboratory. With results delivered in less than two minutes, buyers and distributors can make informed decisions quickly and efficiently.
This innovative approach not only enhances product quality but also empowers our clients with the tools they need to thrive in the competitive cannabis market. I am excited to be part of this groundbreaking journey with PACTECH and look forward to the positive impact we will make together.
