Growing up in a tiny village in Dominica 🇩🇲, I was surrounded by the warmth and wisdom of my elders. They always wished the best for me, guiding me with their stories and advice. However, there was one topic that they consistently warned me about: #marijuana. Shaped by the harsh realities of the war on drugs, they believed that cannabis would lead me down a destructive path. The negative perceptions and demonization of cannabis were deeply ingrained in our community, casting a long shadow over the plant and those who used it.

But as I grew older, my curiosity and passion for #science led me to explore the world beyond these beliefs. I sought to understand the truth about cannabis, separating the myths from the facts. This journey of discovery culminated in the creation of my scientific textbook, Cannabis Development. Through extensive research and collaboration with experts from around the globe, I uncovered the incredible potential of cannabis to improve lives in ways we had never imagined.

Today, I am proud to share with my LinkedIn community that my work is making a difference in countless lives around the world 🌎.
