Starting the year with a humbling recognition as one of Canada’s Top 50 Cannabis Leaders reminded me of the responsibility we all share to drive innovation, sustainability, & equity within this remarkable industry.

Through expanded cannabis financing for businesses in North America, we empowered small & medium-sized enterprises to thrive. This is proof that access to capital is key to unlocking the industry’s vast potential.

Being honored as a Rising Star by Meta gave me a renewed sense of purpose. It reinforced the importance of leveraging social platforms to share knowledge & inspire others on this journey.

I was privileged to deliver the keynote address at the Niagara Falls Cannabis Tourism 420 Summit, sharing insights on how cannabis tourism is shaping economies & cultures. April also marked the proud release of my book, Cannabis Development, dedicated to fostering understanding of cannabis, societal perspectives & the humanities.

Recognition poured in as I became a finalist for both Grower of the Year & Influencer of the Year, & received the Best Consultant of the Year award. These honors reflect the power of teamwork & the support from an amazing #community.

We expanded cannabis leaf nutrient tissue testing & cannabinoid analysis for THC & terpenes, a leap forward in quality assurance & precision agriculture, enabling growers to deliver their best.

My nomination for the Innovative Cannabis Cultivation Award by the International Society of Cannabis in the UK was a testament to how global our work has become. I also launched the Cannabis Tourism Chronicles Show, bringing unique cannabis #tourism stories to life.

One of my proudest moments: seeing Cannabis Development recognized as a source in doctoral & post doctoral studies at Germany’s & Canada’s #1 Agricultural Universities.

We raised funds to support Pardon, a South African student, in advancing his research into agricultural cannabis and participating in global conferences. Empowering the next generation of researchers is our collective responsibility.

Connecting investors to cannabis projects: small, medium, & large, took center stage as we expanded opportunities for #entrepreneurs across the industry.

As a moderator for the Cannabis Travel Association International, I helped shape conversations around tourism in the USA. I also received nominations for Best Websites and Marketer of the Year.

Capping the year, I was a guest speaker for medical #cannabis platforms in the UK, and expanded Smart Money Investment programs to support cannabis small businesses.
This plant is a vehicle for change, healing, and progress. Here’s to 2025: new opportunities, deeper collaboration, & the continued pursuit of innovation.
